WE ARE THE CHURCH
The church is not a building. We don't go to church, we ARE the church. We gather together in community. We find encouragement in fellowship and prayer with other believers.
Hebrews 10:25 states "Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching".
Growing in Christ is a lifelong process. We believe the best way to do that is through digging into God's word, discipleship and studies.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever
Giving is an essential part of worship. We need to give our time, talents, and we should also give from the material blessings God has bestowed upon us.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
God has given each person a spiritual gift that He wants to be used in His service. We believe we must step outside the walls of our church and serve our community and the world. We participate in missions both local and international. We love and serve our neighbors and community.
Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
